Executive Director
Raymond R. Viswanathan was born and raised in Singapore to first generation Christian parents. Although raised in a Christian home, he found Christ as his Savior and Lord, during his teens, in December 1984. From that point forward, his life was never the same: with the Promise of God’s Word from Isaiah Chapter 54, the Holy Spirit of God turned his life around and led him to bring many to the saving knowledge of Christ both at school and later during his career.
Raymond witnessed first-hand the Gospel revivals that occurred in his birth country of Singapore in the mid-70s and early 80s. As a young boy, he saw first-hand the transformation that God had wrought in the lives of many of his friends, neighbors and in his Church. In the Fall of 2006, he moved to Canada and set up home in the suburbs of Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) with his lovely wife of 12 years. Today, his passion is for the Church in Canada to experience a genuine Revival from God.
Raymond is the Executive-Director of Crucible of Faith Ministries. For seven years (2010-2017), he pastored a small local Church in the suburbs of Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada). He earned a Master of Arts degree in Bible and Christian Studies (Baptist Theological Seminary; Singapore) and a Certificate in Counseling Psychology (Lee Community College; Singapore). He still continues to preach and teach the Word of God today.
He is also the creator and author of FiveLoavesTwoFish™, a weekly e-Devotional with a growing international reach. He has authored several books and his familiar voice may be heard on the popular webcast series, The-Witness™ : there you will find him tirelessly and unapologetically preaching the Word of God, with a clear emphasis on sound Scriptural doctrine and a bold affirmation on prophecy for the time and season we now live in.
Raymond is a law-enforcement professional with over twenty years of experience in policing, investigations, emergency planning and security management. In the course of his career, he has held several senior-level appointments with the Government of Singapore including Assistant Director of Joint-Planning at the Ministry of Home Affairs HQ and Ship Commanding Officer with the Singapore Police Coast Guard.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology (University of Calgary; Alberta, Canada) and is board-certified in the following specializations: Certified Forensic Interviewer™, Professional Certified Investigator® and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist®.
