The Economy of God’s Word (Part-I): the Principle of the ‘Stone-Jars’
May 22, 2022 | The Economy of God’s Word (Part-I): the Principle of the ‘Stone-Jars’
Crucial and significant divine-principles govern the effective working of the Word of God and one of these is the ‘principle of the stone jars.’ In this episode, listen to a clear Scriptural account of how the Holy Spirit of God had set hearts aflame in the early Church and how God will also do the same for His Church living in the world today. The Word of God, when it is believed, will give rise to Faith in Christ and usher in the Power of God to work mightily in our lives and in the lives of our families, our communities and ultimately our nation.
Scripture-Anchor:
John 2:6-12 | now there were six water pots of stone according to the manner of the purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons a piece. Then Jesus said to them: “fill the water pots with water.” And they filled them up to the full. And then Jesus said to them: “draw some out now and take it to the master of the feast.” And they did so. And when the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine and did not know where it came from, he called the bridegroom and said to him: ‘everyman at the beginning sets out the good wine and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. But you have kept the good wine until now.’
